my grandfather was a great man. we all came together for him. i was sad not to see him to only have him in photographs, but i know it is not how it is. he lives in my heart in all of our hearts. norway spoke of the bridge he created for psychotherapy while his dear dear friend spoke of the time he spent with him. his niece weaved the story of his life in greece at first tears in her eyes. his daughters told their stories. they all spoke of his greatness, his care, his gentility, his love of those around him, and his principles of life. he left his mark and for certain he brought many together. i can see him sitting in his chair and hear his voice. his gentle nature radiating. it is an honor for me to have pieces of his experience even so small to have shared and to be connected. yes, he was a great man.
