many miles have been covered. i felt better once i past passed the east. oklahoma gave way to rolling hills. beautiful blonde and patches of brushy auburn set against a periwinkle sky. the red rocks placed against the horizon as the land continued to open up. i just wanted to eat them. a little bird told me they are a good source of iron. then i saw tumbleweeds and route 66 tossed us up. the land was still open.
